The Full Story

Tim Tisch is a premier pitching coach located in the San Diego County, with a coaching career that has spanned nearly two decades. Before Tim began coaching, he played for the Chicago White Sox organization, where he threw a no hitter against the St Louis Cardinals organization. He also played for the St Paul Saints, where the team won the Northern League Championship and he set a personal record of 10-2.

As a former professional baseball player who unfortunately had a career ending injury, Tim now focuses on teaching proper mechanics to prevent injuries. Tim's background combines a passion for the sport with a commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment. With experience in biomechanics and injury prevention, Tim prioritizes teaching fundamental skills in young players.

Utilizing video analysis tools, Tim provides insightful feedback to young players, emphasizing the importance of biomechanical correctness. Tim's commitment extends beyond the field, incorporating strength and conditioning elements to enhance overall physical preparedness and reduce injury susceptibility.

Communication is a cornerstone of his teaching philosophy. Tim actively engages with players, coaches, and parents, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. By instilling a love for the game alongside a solid foundation in proper mechanics, Tim aims to empower young athletes with skills that extend far beyond the baseball diamond.

Continued education is paramount, and Tim stays abreast of the latest developments in sports science, injury prevention research, and coaching methodologies. Tim's goal is not only to teach the game, but to instill a lifelong appreciation for health, well-being, and the joy of playing baseball.
